Tiny Trash Can zero waste rainbow window

Zero waste rainbow

This weekend’s zero waste art project 💚 Rainbows are popping up all over our neighborhood, and my son decided it was time to make our own 😊

We reused the lid from a carryout pizza box for the poster. My son used colored pencils for the drawing (we composted the pencil shavings), and I used compostable paper washi tape to hang it in our front window. We’ll recycle the cardboard lid and compost the washi tape when the pandemic is behind us.

With playgrounds and parks closed, the only outdoor activity left for lots of families are neighborhood strolls. We hope our rainbow will spread a little joy in this time of social distancing 🌈
