Happy (belated) Halloween! The weather was so scary on Oct. 31, that our town actually postponed trick-or-treating! 😱

For our Halloween costumes, we went DIY, zero waste and totally free! I fastened stuffed animals (passed down to my son from my childhood) to my clothes with safety pins 🤪 My son used camping tent poles from a broken tent for his ninja "swords" 💪

Instead of trick-or-treating, we stayed home and passed out zero waste treats to neighborhood kids. I'm happy to report that they were a hit! 😁
