My son and I had a great week, fitting our trash into a tiny 2 1/2″ mason jar. Milo … not so much.
That’s because Milo finished his first bag of cat food, the one I hurriedly purchased after taking him in and before researching zero waste options. I fed him Totally Raw food for the first couple months, but I switched him to dried food this summer to make it easier for cat sitters when we go out of town. Now he’s eating Wellness Core Grain-Free kitten food because Wellness Natural Pet Food has a free recycling program through TerraCycle for their plastic packaging. 😀
