Ironically, half the volume is two plastic bags that came with my new compost bin 🤔 I ordered the compost bin online then discovered the plastic wrapping when I picked it up. The instruction manual was sealed in plastic (why?) then that was grouped with the lid and four metal anchors and sealed in another plastic bag. It’s not as if the compost bin lid needs to be protected from dirt! 🤣 Hopefully the compost bin will have a positive net effect on the environment, despite two plastic bags! 🌎
