Check out these adorable tins I scored at the thrift store yesterday!
I got all three for just $3.25—such a fun and affordable zero-waste way to present gifts ![]()
I plan to use them as “gift wrap” for Christmas this year. They’re the perfect size for small presents or homemade treats (I’m thinking cookies and peppermint bark
). No wrapping paper or tape needed—just pop the goodies inside, close the lid, and done!
I also have cardboard gift boxes and bags that I reuse every year, but eventually they start to show their age—worn corners, creases, wrinkles, etc. These metal tins, though? Much sturdier, infinitely reusable, and they’ll last for many holiday seasons ![]()

And if they ever get a little too dinged up to give away? They’d make great storage—bows, ribbons, ornaments—or can eventually be recycled ![]()
The best part is that the tin itself becomes part of the gift
They’re too cute to toss, so hopefully whoever receives them will pass them along again—and keep the zero waste cycle going ![]()
